Shelf is your personal prompt library that keeps all your valuable AI prompts organized and instantly accessible across the web. This guide will help you master every feature and get the most out of your prompt collection.

Quick Start (2 Minutes)

1. Install & First Launch
2. Install Shelf from the Chrome Web Store
3. Click the Shelf icon in your toolbar
4. The extension automatically creates your first empty library
5. Save Your First Prompt
6. Go to any website with text (Reddit, X, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
7. Highlight any text you want to save
8. Right-click and select "Save as Prompt"
9. Your prompt is instantly saved!
10. Use Your Prompt
11. Go to any text field on any website
12. Press Alt+P or click the Shelf icon
13. Search for your prompt and click to insert
14. The text appears instantly in your text field
